Accessibility is vital to ensuring that everyone can experience and appreciate the rich history and culture at the George Washington Carver Museum, Cultural and Genealogy Center (GWCM).
The George Washington Carver Ambassadors (GWCA), the 501c3 support arm of the GWCM, is dedicated to supporting the museum’s mission and the encouragement of all our community to explore the offerings of the space.
On behalf of the GWCA, Ambassador Alta Alexander and her husband, Lamont Alexander, have generously donated a new wheelchair and three walkers. This thoughtful contribution represents a significant step toward enhancing accessibility for all our visitors. “With these new mobility aids, we are creating a more inclusive environment that allows individuals of all abilities to engage with the museum exhibits and community programs,” expressed Alta. 🦽
Together, we are cultivating a space where everyone can connect, learn, and grow.
